Does anyone find it odd if ever calling to book a hotel room with an indoor whirlpool/hot tub for say 6 adults and indoor pool that both would close at a hotel at 7 p.m. vs. say 10 p.m. at night?  Called one hotel in Door county WI and the older lady says she quit the 9-10 p.m. open pool/hot tub area for too many drunks and accidents happening later at night deciding long ago to close them at 7 p.m..    Needless to say,  I picked another hotel, although 9 bucks more per night, that keeps their indoor pool/hot tub open until 10 p.m..    Lady was very rude to me 'just asking why' that she said if do not like it then call the hotel across the street giving me that hotel place name and then rudely hung up on me, even though I still had a few other basic questions to ask.   I guess she does not like visitors or just in 'one of those moods'? - LOL

This other place 9 bucks higher per night is probably worth it though since has free 'basic' breakfast can stock up on hard boiled eggs, pancakes, juice, donuts, etc.....   For 9 bucks extra besides having breakfast is still worth it to me to sit in a HOT tub at 9-10 p.m. at night.

Wife wants in our house a standard one person tub with jets for the basic bath/shower does not have one now and is in need of a refresher since few hairline cracks in the surround fiberglass tub guessing from dropping the bottle of shampoo onto the fiberglass.  That and some 20+ years ago I passed out in the shower whacking my head on the built in towel bar that broke in two back then having to patch the fiberglass hole on both sides up which is starting to look ugly all over again.  I wonder how much more a tub with jets cost and if can be done in a very tight bathtub/shower surround area the size of a basic size one?   I do not fit anymore into a basic sized bathtub not comfy but wife being under 200lbs. is fine in one.

When and if you install another tub. The trick is to do the total preset and  then pull the tub out and mix up mortar  for where the tub floor is sitting. A little weight in the tub and leave it alone for a day.  I do this with most all installs in the bathroom. The floors will not take the weight and crack over time.
