I would like to throw this out there ....

There will be 8 of us here in southern Idaho going to Inzane. Our tentative plan is to leave Boise area early Saturday morning the 11th of June and ride up to Kooskia catching Hwy 12 going over LoLo Pass ending up in Missoula for Saturday night. From Missoula picking out some two lane road meandering across MT then dropping down to Billings in time for the Early Bird BBQ.

For those that are hooking up in Post Falls headed to Inzane we could meet you in Missoula Saturday evening and ride to Billings together.

What say you......do you think something like this would work?  Think about it Smiley

Our original thought was Spring Valhalla, Post Falls. Leaving Sunday morning for Billings.

But we really haven't talked about who is going, and what we wish to do. I know my co-pilot isn't wanting to come, I don't know if I'm even going yet (lets just say COVID for now) and I might not know till closer to June.

I've only booked the week of InZane and the monday after, off work. That's one day to Post Falls (Sat), and 3 days home on the monday.

I kind of like that idea, 3 days to Billings. When I went to Spearfish, I did one day to Missoula, and the other to Spearfish. They where LONG 12 hour days. A long ride from close by would be nice on that Sunday. It does sound do-able, and a larger group ridding in is nice too.

Whatever you end up doing, know that we'd love to see you and spend some time riding and conversing with you. I am also concerned about covid, but have decided that I'm as vaccinated as one can be, and (hopefully) it seems to be winding down. I am slowly and cautiously re-entering society, even though they really haven't invited me back

I like that. Me too. That's why I'm not sure yet. Wife doesn't want to travel, and she's been a big part of my rides this last decade. It will be based upon how much trouble to cross the border each way in June.

I've really missed these rides/rallies. It's about my only trips I take, and they are nice and so is the company.

Well, I think we are on the same page. Cautiously re entering our lives. Would really like to see you there, and MSB and some of my other precious Canadian friends. We'd love it if you could make it, but understand if you can't. Just really want to connect again. Our trip to Canada pre-Covid in 2019 to Valhalla was the trip of a lifetime for me. Something that can never really be repeated. Hope to see you. Take care.

If they lift the now totally pointless PCR test requirement for fully vaccinated Canadians coming back home to Canada after a few days in the States within the next couple of months, there is a chance I may make the run down to Billings to spend a few days at Inzane. If I did, it would be solo and I'd also leave a day early in order to get back home so Lisa and me can head up with the camper to an Interior lake we've got a site booked at for a week of serious fishing. After that we're meeting our daughter and her family up at Mt Robson for another week or more camping & fishing.

Valhalla in Grand Forks in September will be a full-on gathering with all the traditional trimmings and events. And who knows...by that time, yours truly and the Mrs just might just be living there ourselves... if that possibility we're looking into now pans out Smiley

Great plan Mike.......nothing down here to hold you anymore. Grand Forks is a wonderful area for riding, fishing and relaxing. I've been watching property in the Grand Forks area for some time now. We spent four days in Grand Forks last summer tubing on the Kettle river each day. It was magic.
Keep us posted on your plans!

I don't know if it will ever happen, but if my wishes cold come true, I'd like to someday bring my wife and our RV and visit you in your beautiful country.

Anytime Greg...with border restrictions lessening every month, we can make this happen. Lisa and me can hook up our little rig and grab one of our favorite camping locations up here and wait for you guys to roll in to join us from across the border...that would be Awesome cooldude

Wow Mike! Those photos! Just amazing. Looks like retirement is treating you and Lisa well. What a gorgeous place Canada is. One of these days my friend!
