Just FYI. NOT intending for debate of pro v con. If moderators want to move this to the other page then by all means do that. If you want to lock it do that too. I know the subject of …..-19 is off limits but this is a different issue. We don’t need any of our folks stuck in areas or on the roadway.

https://www.theblaze.com/news/us-truckers-plan-to-squeeze-dc-this-week-with-freedom-convoy

“ The California convoy is being organized by Marueen Steele, who told Newsweek that some 1,000 truckers will begin the trip east on Feb. 23. She said more will join the convoy as they cross the nation…”

“ Steele said that the convoy will begin in Barstow, California, and then head east along Interstate 40, but she would not disclose the specific location for security.”

“ Bob Bolus, an organizer of one of the convoys, told local D.C. media that the plan is to "squeeze" the nation's capital like a "boa constrictor" and shut down the city.”

“ "I'll give you an analogy of that of a giant boa constrictor," Bolus said. "That basically squeezes you, chokes you and it swallows you, and that's what we're going to do to D.C."”

Certainly avoid I-95, US 1 and US 50 within 100 miles of our nation's capitol. If you go up from Norfolk towards NJ (through Delaware) , you might be OK. Avoid I 66, and I 64, and maybe I 70 as well.  IMO....

This is great.  I can't quite see it from my roof, but almost.

This will be a nice change from the usual circus.

Up the rebellion.

If they are traveling I-40 east from California, They will probably go to I-85 or I-95 in NC (I-85 joins  I-95 just south of Richmond).

If they are looking to cork up DC, the smart thing to do is spread out and come in from all over.

No reason to make it easy for the counter-intel types and do a hey-diddle-diddle, right-up-the-middle.

Although a few big caravans out West and Flyover states would get good coverage, and support.  Then, split up in the East.

Richmond threw up some pretty effective roadblocks and inconveniences for our VA Lobby Day festivities a while back.   (not good enough)
