Yeah, he's scum.  I found him on FB; he has a girlfriend, who I assume is the mother of the two kids.

Thanks Serk.  I didn't want to jump to any conclusions, but usually when no description or picture is included in the article it is because the perp is not of the white supremist/privilege variety.  Any word on whether this guy was of the law abiding gun owner persuasion who are targeted by gun laws, or was he a scofflaw that doesn't give a hoot about gun laws?  I'm guessing the latter.

I read a news article today that said as the cop swatted away the gun he yelled, "Kid"!

The 4yr old had a 3 yr old sibling in the car with him, had the officer not done what he did both of the kids could be dead.

His quick thinking and actions saved them.

I hope that he is recognized accordingly in the community.
