As is often the case, you will discover something of interest when looking for something entirely different. This video is a good example, it gives the history of Goodyear, Michelin, etc., so take a few minutes out of your day. The beginning of the the video gives some insight in bias vs. radial construction along with a few other tidbits, stuff most of us already know. Once past that is where it starts getting interesting re. the history of tires and the people involved.  cooldude
