Judging by the appearance of my girls bedrooms when they were growing up, I could have used one of those years ago. My daughter #3 invited me to her dorm room in college, a room she shared with another gal. A few years later at her wedding reception, I gifted her with a subscription to Good Housekeeping with an attached card referencing the old dorm room. I did the same to her roomie...good laugh was had by everyone. Dads can be such a pain!  Grin

During my recent home renovation, I accomplished the same thing by opening the gate, and driving a small track hoe inside, used the hoe to move stuff/smash and squash, just kept running over it till it was as flat as it was going to get.   Gave me about 50% more volume by the time I was done.   Took about 30 minutes total.   The owner of the track hoe watched while I did it.

My BIL and I use em some. In these parts $300-$400 (depending on size) they'll let you have one for 30 days. Includes drop off and pickup. Extra for over loading it (weight or things sticking out the top) they don't like that. One company swapped out for an empty one during the 30 days for less than the "smash". By the way, like renting anything, take pics when it's dropped. Those things can be in rough shape and you don't want to pay for the abuse.  tickedoff

You mean everybody doesn't stomp down their various trash cans in the house?

The kitchen one is nasty, so you wait to stomp it down until you have a flat cereal box or something.   Grin
