Yesterday I went looking for the Murray 2040-180 hi-flo t'stat as listed in the Generic Parts list. At Auto Zone I asked if they carried Murray, which they didn't, so asked about the gasket listed in the Generic sheet. Said it's for a 1990 Volvo 740 with the 2.3 DOHC motor as described on the Generic sheet. Guy looks it up...no problem, comes up with a Duralast #25565. Then, me being half-smart half the time(on a good day), I suggested he try looking up the t'stat for the same vehicle. Bingo! The hi-flo Murray 2040-180 coverts to a Duralast #15868. Both parts $10.74 w/tax. So, if looking for either, or both, just look for the Volvo reference. The Generic sheet only refers to the gasket as being for the gasket. Maybe some of you already know this, maybe some don't, but it's worthy of adding the info to the Generic Parts list.

Duralast p/n's:
Thermostat....15868
Gasket..........25565
