Just bought a 98 tourer, great condition 40k miles. I’ve never owned a bike this old so is there anything I should be doing or be on the lookout for. Any advise would be appreciated

One of our members-DDT-if he ain't there yet flirtin with 700000 miles. Simple maint and being aware of some rare symptoms. Again READ the tech board 1500. And B T W-welcome from Southern Missouri. RIDE SAFE.

I’m in Columbus Ohio,

Perfect, we have several folks from OH that will be attending InZane in Billings, MT.   Hope you're able to make it.   Nothing like looking over your breakfast in the morning and seeing a few hundred Valks sitting in the parking lot being readied for a ride to unknown destinations.

While I'm on the topic of unknow destinations.   Will take this opportunity to invite you to come to Mississippi Spring Fling April 1-3.   We don't care what you ride or how you get here, just need to plan on a good time.   Hope you can make it also.
