Hi, my clutch was TOAST, the bike sat for a while before I bought it.  I bought the Barnett friction plates and steels, can someone please tell me the exact order I need to assemble them? I'm not sure why but I'm turning up with an extra friction plate. My dampener plate seems fine. Any help would be appreciated .

A lot of times the aftermarket kits are for more than one model so they may have an extra plate in them.  download the online manual and that should give you what your looking for or even the online parts breakdown.  https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda/motorcycle/2001/gl1500cf-ac-valkyrie-interstate/clutch

Thanks. I found out they actually shorted me a steel. I put one of the old ones back in it so now I'm looking around the shop for some M6 bolts so I can get it back in and align it.
My bike has been down for around a month north and I feel like part of me is gone, let's hope I get this done today!
