  Friends of ours are moving from Hawaii to the area near Austin Texas.  I figured I would have to start them on the language.

Several years ago, my wife and I went to Hawaii.  As we were walking through the airport we saw a garbage can that said mahalo on it.  My wife asked what's that mean.  I said I dunno, I guess it means trash.  Later, we were buying something at a store and as I completed paying, the lady at the cash register said mahalo and I was thinking man, she doesn't even know us.
