Warlock  lead us on a great ride to Camp Shelby Military Museum.  This specialized helicopter was made specific for hauling TANKS.  It has 2 motors that turn out 4,800 horsepower each.....thats 9,600 horsepower total.....wow!

Warlocks ride also took us to the Red Bluffs area....aka....The Mississippi Grand Canyon....in the middle picture notice the two people standing on the edge on the road to give it depth

cooldude   Thanks for posting those pics.   I was hoping to get some of the entire group in attendance but, with folks coming and going all over the place, that just couldn't happen.  Tried counting the bikes in the parking lot, folks were coming and going and with so many similar paints it was pretty much impossible.

Thanks again.   Anyone else got any?

If the "tank" weighs less than 10 tons, sure it "could" haul it...if rigged properly.
Its original configuration had pods that were designed to be secured to the airframe and then dropped off elsewhere along with the capability to use its conventional external cargo hook for slinging various other loads.

Today, our Sikorsky products are far more capable than back in the day....

Wish I could have joined y'all in Mississippi, but I was otherwise engaged (I was buying a KTM390 Adventure while you were smiling through the Mississippi miles).
