Left my first semi retirement location after spending a few months in Chiefland FL, enjoying the weather and riding with the group there, really had a great time. Now time for my semi annual posting
. After having an enjoyable breakfast and gabaround with Bruce and HJT, buttoned everything up and off I went. Bruce has it kinda over me here, cause his home is where he hangs his helmet, where I always have to remember where I left my home
. Arrived in Murphy NC, really looking forward to wander the roads not on the hit list, and surprise, a 98 I/S rolled in yesterday, kinda a local with a friend that actually works here on a FHLJBGQR or whatever they are calling them nowadays. They offered me a tagalong on Thursday with some locals, really hoping I see some roads less traveled. Got the rest of the month so I expect to see more of what I missed when I was here for the FCR. After this its back to the daughter's place in Michigan to drop the toy hauler with a quick stopover in Cincinnati to see my newest great granddaughter. June is going to be great, connecting with the youngster John Schmidt heading to Inzane. Subject to change at the drop of a hat, we are booked June 10 in Albert Lee MN at the Quality Inn, June 11 in Oacoma SD at the Quality Inn, and June 12 in Belle Fourche at the Econo Lodge. Nice easy 300ish miles/day. Putting this out there in case anyone is in the area around the same times. Y'All ride safe, see most of you soon!
