I just picked up a deepwell 32mm 12pt socket and it's too small. I read the various history on the sizes of nuts needing to come off so as to remove the rear case, did I miss something?


UPDATE: Helps if I wear my reading glasses....geez! Needed a 36mm, not 32. Oh well... Grin

   I would get a six point on something that big, less chance of it slipping. I like six point on everything anyway.

Not on this nut, it's multifaceted and needs a 12pt. I'm afraid a 6pt would ruin the high spots on the nut, it's not a regular hex head type.

in the past, I have seen the required socket to be 32mm. Obviously an error but adds to the confusion.
