Some gal won her 12th day. But I saw something on the final I have not seen before. She went to the final question by herself? The other 2 contestants were in minus dollars! RIDE SAFE.

Yes, saw that. She is really good, might make a good run. One odd thing, have you noticed how she answers questions as if not sure, questions her answers, timid?? Or is it just kind of a niceness that this Canadian has. Extremely conservative in her betting too; as if she knows the value of every dollar.
Quite a different champion than the previous long runners.

She won Again today! Had to go to youtube to see it as there are some bad storms in the KY3 viewing area and the weather guessers have control now! Kinda neat to watch that show sans commercials! RIDE SAFE.

When stationed at Incerlik AB Turkey (mid 80's), the only TV station we got was AFN (Armed Forces Network). Well, the only TV in English.
Lot of CNN (back when they provided just straight up truthful news), and a few TV shows.
Right after work, guys would head over to the club for a beer, and Jeapardy was on. So there'd be 10-20 guys playing right along with the contestants. It was a daily thing, and very popular. Yeah, entertainment was limited.

I'm not into the nose hardware, but I guess she's not into men so that's a wash anyway. It was cool to see her win by a buck the other day. Smart betting. She's sure a lot easier for me to cheer on than the last gal dude champion. I have to admit that I kept hoping that (s)he would just lose, already... Kinda like I wish someone could beat that college swimmer dude-ette mer-man thing. Oh, yeah, if they put him back competing with the "real" boys he'd be blown outta the water.

When I was Stationed in Japan I recall this. Watching The Lone Ranger on a Japanese T V Station. Hi Yo Silver became-Hi akuu Silver san. That's sounded out phonetically as near as I can. There were others but can seem to dredge them up. RIDE SAFE.

Turkish TV (one channel back then) was closely censored. They loved John Wayne movies.
Watching John Wayne westerns, dubbed into Turkish was funny, once.
VCRs (and VHS tapes) were king in my tours over there. Friends and family would send over tapes of an ordinary evening of network TV , or old movies, or any football games, all with commercials, and they got traded around till they wore out. I probably still have a few of those old VHS tapes under my stairs (deep storage).
