Hmm, hadn't thought about that aspect but then, I mow my own grass.  

I'm just curious, my wife has one of those Romba vaccuum things upstairs, it does a great job.   It operates in a strange pattern, covers the entire floor it has access to but, it's all over the place.   I wonder if this Automower does the same thing or if it mows in a back and forth or around in a circle.   As I said, I'm just curious.   Looked at one model, it had a 9 3/4 inch cutting swath.   With that small of a swath, it would take quite a while to mow my 2 acres.

Oh, the baddest version is only supposed to mow 1.25 acres.   And, they ain't exactly cheap.   But, one of the neat things is if you download the ap to your phone, you can mow your lawn while having a good time at Inzane.

Around here, there is a saying (stolen from others)............ Let my people mow.

John Deere has had them for a few years (The Tango).

Not much market in the US, so sales were for Europe only (smaller and more tangible flat terrains)

My BIL has one as he is a dealer. He had one of their prototypes long before they were out. It works excellent

I have no doubt.   But, the more I think about it, it won't mow my entire lawn and then there's that pond issue which (if I understand it correctly) I will need to install limiting wire guidance thingies.   So, until they make a version that wil snorkel, I doubt I'll be buying one.

Besides that, my six foot finish mower does a fine job.
