So Im usually one of two volunteers to be a visible security to help insure everything is safe on campus.

They let me park under a covered entrance so I don’t get a wet seat from dew as it gets dark.  The small kids always get a kick out of seeing the bike right there where everyone comes in.

Security at churches is a good idea.  (esp with recent history)

A good idea anywhere there is a group of (nearly always unarmed) people in an enclosed space, with only a couple entrances/exits of mostly unlocked doors.  Captive audience, much like movie theaters and many small businesses.

I'm curious, have you ever had to actively BE security?

We’ve had a couple minor incidents. None that required armed intervention. But we are trained and ready for anything

Awesome  cooldude

Whenever I have my bike in the parking lot, many thought it was the pastors bike at first. When we would ride together a few times I let him ride my Valk. Eventually he could not resist and got a Valkyrie also. Some days there would be 2 Valks at the church parking lot.

On the days I have guard duty, I walk around the parking lot and admire the bikes and think how cool that we could ride them to church.  cooldude

Cant do it as often as I would like since the wife wants no part in messing up her outfit or hair, but for those days we have the convertible.

Nice shot Chris and I saw your last project and did not compliment you on the nice job and good work.
