So my old radio antenna is worn out and the rubber is bad.  What's a good replacement?  The one currently on the bike is much smaller then the OEM one.

Which model of bike? CB antenna, or AM/FM?

I feel silly for not adding that.  99 Interstate, AM/FM

Sierra Electronics offered an adapter which allowed an H-D AM/FM antenna to be used with Honda GLs that have a stud antenna mount. You can choose from a number of shortened models and IIRC Sierra also sells these antennas.

Start there.
