I highlighted a few paper maps . I also use Waze as they have a Motorcycle section that will keep u off toll roads and Hwy's if u choose. This seems similar, we need to get on a call together in the next few weeks. The route is pretty simple once we get up thru the Ozarks, which will be real nice, then we can jump on 40 to make up the time. Run 40 to Amarillo then head North up into Colorado and the Million Dollar Hwy, and Bear Tooth Pass into Montana. We can tweak it as we go depending on weather.  cooldude

Also.....for those who choose to carry. Looks like smooth sailing in that department as well. Lordy, I updated my GArmin Zumo 660 tonight and saw that it had not been updated (or used) since June 2016! That was the West Virginia Inzane. Bronx and I had a rather spirited ride back from that one.
Put WAZE on the phone as well. Only thing I normally use is Google nav on the phone or the Garmin like nav in the Ram truck.

Hey Pappy, I just read an article that sheds light on the crow issue  crazy2
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) found over 200 dead crows on Highway 281 this past week, and there was concern that they may have died from the Coronavirus.
A veterinary epidemiologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone's relief, confirmed the problem was NOT Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The cause of death was actually from vehicular impacts. However, during analysis it was noted that varying colors of paints appeared on the bird's beaks and claws. By analyzing these paint residues it was found that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with motorcycles, while only 2% were killed by cars.
TxDOT then hired an Ornithological Behaviorist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of motorcycle strikes versus car strikes.
The Ornithological Behaviorist quickly concluded that when crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow to warn of danger.
They discovered that while all the lookout crows could shout "Cah", not a single one could shout "Bike”.
