with 35-40 mph constant steady winds for the last couple, few weeks here.  60 mph gusts again today.  It. Really. Blows.

Always windy in the springtime around these parts, but this spring has been really intense.  Like house popping intense.

More wind than usual here in NoVA too.

I was hoping it would blow all my giant oak pollen elsewhere and it has.  But the oak pollen behind me has made up for it. crazy2

Standing out with the neighbor talking about the high winds I said.... this is not the blow job I had in mind.   Grin

Go for it...get out for a ride. 60 mpg heading out going with the wind, 10 mpg coming back into the wind...should average out, no? Smiley

A sail.  Now there's a well-awake, chlorophyll green idea!

riding the bike to work has been ................invigorating

anything over 30-40 has my pure respect    We had some this week and last

bridges are really fun when that happens  the higher the bridge the higher the wind which always is from the side   why is that

I was in Tulsa on April 27th.  Came back thru WY on the way home on the 29th.   The overhead electrotonic massages showed that the winds were 40mph at Laramie, 50 mph at Rawlins, then went down to 40 mph at Evanston where we spent the night.   Also, we had several snowstorms to drive thu.  We left WY in 2002, I have forgotten how much the wind can blow.

AND yes, we were in a 4 wheel vehicle, not crazy to ride a bike thru WY this time of the year.  Also, the overhead electronic message board were not there when we left..  Nice addition.

Unusual wind on the Jersey Shore as well. It feels like we’re about 3-4 weeks behind on the weather.

Whatever else it's doing (rain, wind), I can do without hot temps (80 and up) for as long as possible.

Just finished mowing.  It didn't need it that bad, but with three more days of rain (starting now), it would have been a jungle out there.  And I need the exercise.

I love my almost new (used) Honda CRX mower, it is the easiest pull rope start I've ever seen (had).

I still think you have a very unique area you live in and we always enjoyed vacations there including a Valk ride.  We have friends in Leadville, Buena Vista and Crested Butte. Always liked that area. Sure would love to finish the ride over Cottonwood now it is done!

It's enchanted territory!  Having grown up here, I'm admittedly very partial to it.  Unfortunatey it is changing rapidly and getting more crowded every year.  Our commissioners used to be for low growth, but the money bug bit and new neighborhoods are springing up left and right.  Inevitable, I s'pose.

I can't complain, as it's still pretty much Mayberry and the riding can't be beat when the weather is cooperating.

We've got three seasons here.  Snow, Blow and Thaw.

Yup Cottonwood pass seems like it was custom made for motorcycles.  It's a great ride.  Let me know if you get out this way again and we'll do it up!   cooldude

Oh if I could only take you back to the days my cousin and I used to race our cars up and down the outer keys here in Sarasota when we were young. They have destroyed what used to be like the show Flipper!   We are now a mini Miami.
