I read a couple of Facebook pages about riding and long distance riding.

Quite a few "Oooops I have no tread on my tire and I'm days away from home." And brake pads.

I've been guilty of wearing out a front tire but always near home.

New front tire 600 miles ago.

I just spent the morning cleaning brake pistons, replacing front brake pads and doing a brake flush.

Now all I have to do is work out my packing for the trip to Inzane.

Don't be that guy at Inzane that needs to do emergency maintenance.  cooldude

Except it's almost never the guy with the emergency that does the work.

And Big Bill Ferguson won't be there.   (RIP)

I have 1,000 miles on the black bike's new tire now  tickedoff ...

I wanted to use that whole back tire on just InZane...

I haven't replaced the valve stem on my 1500 yet, but I
spun the leaking one  in the direction that would tend to
tighten the nut inside and it hasn't leaked the last couple of days.

New front tire (Cleaned / inspected brakes)
CT with low miles on rear (final drive and brake done at that time)
New battery
New air filter
New oil and filter
New spark plugs (checked wires for spark)
Coolant been in there a few years but looks good

Seems ready to go InZane. cooldude
