Heading out to look at a '99 R&B Interstate soon. Considering moving the tank and bags over to my Black '97 Standard. Thought well, how about front fender as well.

Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

The front fender is the same, though the interstate fender has the chrome glob in front (double sided tape).

The good deal about the bags is that their mount includes an integral guard that works with the engine guards in front, to keep the bike at about 35-40 degrees in a tip-over.  Protecting the bags too, if the bike's not tumbled.

Also, the lower half of the rear fender can get rusty and corroded (right at the joint with the upper half), and having a spare or nicer lower half might be good too.

Side covers?  Mirrors?  Pegs?  Lower fork guards?

The lower radiator hose slinky from an interstate is nicer than the bare hose.

Remember that the IS tank can pinch the std seat nose a little (it's not longer, it's taller).  But a small bit of clear tape will stop paint rubbing.
