So I'm gonna put some dragon stacks on my bike. Ive been reading up on how to raise the tank and I have a plan, I do need some help in pointing me to a spacer to lift the tank? As i understand it I need to lift it about half an inch on the front end. If anyone can send me a link to a spacer that works for this I would really appreciate it.

Ace Hardware has a full selection of spacers. Both chrome and SS. You can’t see it so pile up 3-5 fender washers if you want to save money.

You might want to jbweld a single spacer under there - after you determine the thickness you need - to ease installation.  I would probably just tack weld it to the bottom of the tank mount tab - with the weld where it could be cut if I need to remove it.

I've always used a standard lug nut off a car wheel. The tapered end fits perfectly in the hole and holds it stable.

You will need to add a little to the rubber bumpers on the frame. I added a section of radiator hose under the stock bumpers.

Good point! A lot of riders forget about those, adds to the stability of the tank when in place.  cooldude

To allow for clearance when installing the fake velocity stacks.
