Just what the topic says, I had the pleasure of catching up with Bruce = DDT and Jerry = Bigwolf last night for dinner at Jan's Beach Grill in Montgomery. As I walked down to Jan's from my hotel I didn't see his bike and figured I missed him. I walked in and looked and thought for sure I had. Unbeknownst to me he had stepped away. How did i know? This pretty blond seated at the bar stood up and said our you Keith! Bruce will be right back. Wow, I thought I had missed him. I felt much better as we had kinda set this up about 2 weeks ago. A minute later here comes Bruce. He introduced me to the beautiful Carolyn and Jerry. Now I 'd only conversed with Jerry on the board a couple times so didn't know him well but figured he was a pretty good guy from that encounter. Well I was right about Jerry. Bruce said that becasue of potential bad weather that Jerry drove him down to Montgomery from his home in Cookville, TN and will take him back up so he can get Allie. A friend for LIFE and a value recognized around this guy named Bruce. Bruce is a well know patron of Jan's and he introduced me to many of the regulars. Sam, Cuz, Mark, Keith and soon to be wife Jan. Yes the Jan of Jan's Beach Grill. Great folks which didn't take long to see. The Brewer Praise Band was playing this Tuesday night which was only fitting for the occasion. I recognized many of their songs. Thank you Bruce for introducing me to your team in Montgomery. What fine folks and I will be looking forward to seeing them on my next work week to Montgomery while I visit Jan's. Prayers for a good doctor visit and safe journey back to Jerrys. Sorry you and Jerry will miss InZane but for good reasons. I'll hope to catch up in the fall with you two wherever that may be. Maybe one of you can post a couple of the pic's that I sent you. I can't seem to post pic's anymore from my mac.

Keith, It was a very good night! Several commented on how I keep importing new riders to join with the posse participants... all have been pleased with that! BTW, you and Jerry plus several other Valk riders have made an appearance at our gatherings over the years, too. Last night we had a very good turnout of 'regulars', as most of them were there... This pic was taken, but... Maybe we need to start calling ourselves the 'Not on the level Gang' or something. I haven't a clue how to flip that darned pic right, so... do what you can... Looking forward to the next time our paths cross!!!! DDT

I look forward to meeting the “posse” also. Any friend of yours is a friend of mine. I don’t know if I will post much from Alaska. Our Internet will be spotty, and it will mostly be doing stuff with the grandkids, building an outhouse, and mundane work on the property. Hopefully I will get everything done this year to where I can take the Blue bike up next year. THEN I WILL HAVE SOME STORIES TO REPORT ABOUT !

Rob, Good luck with the outhouse construction undertaking! Ya know, when they're the only game in town, they can be downright popular! (That's Troutdude the fourth person back in line... He's keeping a brave pose, but soon after that he was dancing some impressive new steps!) They can even be made to be somewhat esthetically pleasing... Suggestion: You can get away with those, but your popularity will actually soar if you pay close attention to 'bouquet management'! However things go, I wish you all the luck you truly do deserve!!! picture uploadDDT P.S. Sorry Keith! It appears we have hijacked your thread... We have covered the spectrum, though... From food intake to discharge... The 'Alpha and Omega' of food ingestion with a little fun in between...

Once, on a Rolling Thunder ride (like in 2 days again) a group of about 2-300 or so of us got stopped on an exit ramp off 395 (inside the Capitol Beltway) into the Pentagon parking lot (staging area). The lot was full, the exit drive was surrounded by jersey walls, and you couldn't get out or off, in blazing sun. So 12 bikes across, jam packed, everyone put their bikes on the side stands, and waited. After about an hour, all 300 of us had to take a wiz, and we waited. I was desperately looking for anywhere to take a leak, besides right on my tires. There was this giant electrical panel on the little hill surrounding the exit lane; it was elevated, but the bottom was below my zipper line. So the hell with this, and I jumped the jersey wall, ran up the hill, went around behind the panel, and drained the snake. I was like Moses leading the Israelites, and in no time at all all the menfolk were running up there too. It was all pissing and laughing. Except the women weren't laughing. This is why I never attended another Rolling Thunder. Well it's local to me, and I have often ridden out and around the periphery, but never again would I get locked into such a jam of bikes and people. The above picture reminded me of this. The parking lot had rows of porta-jons, but it's not like you had much chance of using those either. There is no shade, it's always hot, and everyone is pounding water. Anyone gotta take a leak?
