Started out ok and found the newly mounted highway pegs are pretty much spot on for me, yea! On my return leg it was getting pretty warm even with the vent in the shield open and knees in the breeze. I kept looking at the control panel and wondering, did I leave the seat heaters on or something? Each time I confirmed they were off, so I hit the display button, 90 degrees, now it made more sense. Thankfully the humidity wasn’t that bad on the the last 20 or so miles was in some tree lined twisties and it actually felt quite cool.
Another great day on two wheels versus lamenting the current world conditions. I did come across a gas station that had gas about 40 cents a gallon cheaper than any other I had seen all day and while I did need much I couldn’t pass up a “deal”! The pumps looked busy but I was in no hurry. Good thing too, they had run out of regular and mid grade and shut the pumps down. However there was a supply truck dumping a fresh load and they assured me that the pumps would be back on once he was finished. Ultimately it was a 20-30 minute gas stop and of course customers were milling around and talking as people will do. Maybe just coincidence, just I did not encounter one Democrat amount the customers getting a fill up, at least no one willing to admit it anyway
