I had crimped one of the throttle cables which ultimately resulted in breaking the throttle sleeve. I was stranded in Kadoka, South Dakota for an extra two nights while Mama went on to Billings. With the coordination of Joe and the provision of Greg this afternoon Ed and Christy Hatter arrived bearing a throttle cable set and a replacement throttle sleeve and grip. Ed and Christy provided good work in replacing the needed parts and then bought my dinner. It's good to have friends. Tomorrow morning I will leave to complete the trip to Billings.
The extra two days in Kadoka were interesting, well somewhat so. At the service station next door the pumps sold only 87 octane or diesel neither of which is acceptable to Daisy Mae.
There are folks that insist the brontosaurus and bison did not concurrently inhabit the earth. Well outside the service station is the evidence that puts that claim to bed.

As we travel across this great land decorative art takes on varied forms.

How many know after what deer species this art was patterned?

It was nice to relax a few days in Kadoka but it will be good to leave tomorrow.
Thank you to my friends who came to the rescue.
