It is good to be back on sight.  I have been MIA for a couple years.  I met another valkyrie  rider down in Mt Airy NC a couple weeks back and made me really want to get back in touch with the forum.  So i have a 98 standard that I have done a lot of custom work to, and my father in law has a 99 standard that is simple beautiful.  I will get some pics up as soon as I figure out how to do so.  I am in the central KY area.  I know Black Ram use to be in Frankfort not sure if He is still around.  Any other riders in the Central KY area please introduce yourself and lets try to get together sometime.  Looking forward to hearing all the goings on and glad to be back to the forum

Well heck, I wondered where you went to.   I tried a few times to get in touch with you but, no response.
Regardless, glad you're still on a fat lady and do hope to visit with you at some point.

With that, I'll go ahead and invite you to come to Mississippi Spring Fling.   Always the weekend closest to April Fool's Day.   In 2023, it is scheduled for 31 March to 2 April.   Hope you can make it.   Lots of socializing, tire kicking and the Annual Lying Contest in addition to the Danny McMillan Memorial Ride on Saturday.   Advanced Warning is necessary, there's some real tall tale tellers attending so, be ready.   f6gal was a distance 2nd last year.   Sweet Cheeks came in last.   Even with her elevator boots, no one believed she was really 5' 14 ".   Wink

Hey now!  If you’d let me pass that bottle around, I would have won and you know it!

Janice, when you press "quote" to reply to someone, and your text block comes up, you have to make sure you start typing below the bottom quote, which appears in brackets [like this].  Sometimes that bottom quote in brackets at the end of the quoted text is many lines below the quoted text, and you don't see it if you don't scroll down farther before typing.

If the bottom quote [in brackets] is below what you type, your words will appear as part of the quoted message when you hit Post.

It happens often.

The key is to always go back and look at your post after posting it to make sure it looks like what you intended.   If it's screwed up you can go back a fix it.  But sometimes it's so screwed up, it's easier to delete it and start over.

Good to know! There is a ride in planned for this weekend. Motel6 in Corbin is ground zero. Too close for spending a night in the motel for me so my plan is to roll out early Saturday morning. The ride route is already laid out and you can get more info on the Northern Valkyrie Riders Facebook page.

Some, but not all. Sometimes on the Southern Valkyrie riders page, sometimes here, sometimes just word of mouth. Up until this year I hadn’t ridden in 6-7 years so I’ve been out of the loop too.
