The "Inzane XXII Billings Montana" banner is hung.  My first place "Non Valk Bike Show" plaque is on the wall.  The Dan-Marc fuel shutoff (raffle prize) is in the mail.  The bugs are still on the front of the bike, but I will get the Goldwing cleaned up in the next couple of days.  1st day out, riding was warm, as expected.  I took 89 north up halfway through UTAH then cut over to 15.  2nd day, temps were nice, mid 80's all day.  I stayed on 15, and spent the night in Idaho Falls, directly across from the falls.  Sunday morning, I woke up to mist.  By the time I got on the bike, it was raining.  200 miles of rain with temps in the mid 40's.  Did I mention the 40 mph wind?  Monday, well after three long days of riding, it was good to stay off the bike.  I mostly just hung around the Billings Convention Center, visiting with old friends, and checking out all the other bikes.  Tuesday, Yellowstone was closed due to flooding, as was Red Lodge.  Beartooth and Chief Joseph were both reportedly closed.  That limited our riding. so we went east, then returned, taking the Lewis and Clark Trail.  Did I mention the 40 plus mph wind?  Wednesday we went on the Charity Luncheon ride to Billings Zoo.  I really enjoyed the zoo, well except for the 40 mph wind.  Wednesday evening was Lori's Pie Auction.  One pie went for $700.  Our table won several items which were shared.  Thursday morning was the bike rodeo and games.  It was fun to watch and the weather was nice.  The bike show was Thursday afternoon.  The only "non Valk" in the show was a Victory Vision so I put my Goldwing in the show give him some competition.  Thursday evening was the raffle and awards dinner.  We had steak dinner.  Lots of raffle prizes and awards were given out.  It was great hanging out with Nautibrit, Big Mac, Dick Britton, and Brice.  Thanks guys for letting me hang out with you.  Inzane itself was a lot of fun as always, but the closed roads and terrible winds hampered riding a bit.  Thank you to my wife, Donna, for letting me go and for follow me in her SUV.  Thank you Lori, Carl, Connie, Michael, Barb, and Don for all the work you do to put this event on.

I sure as heck noticed the wind. My bike went over twice because of it.

I hope that you remembered to hang the $100 banner and not the much nicer $200 version  Grin

I certainly did George, I hung the old used banner up.  Your new shinny one is all rolled up and protected to keep it clean.

Wind kept me away this year, and I had heard about Red lodge, beartooth and yellowstone so I  ended up going south along the Mississippi once I hit Iowa and then east to indiana and then North Carolina.   At least I got fresh tires and rear end service done  before leaving,

Heard stories from hay about bikes going over, sorry to hear yours was one of them

Just do not enjoy riding in those winds, heat ok, rain ok, dust storms  meh? but once winds at 50 no thanks

Hope to be at IZ next year and see y'all, hopefully a bit closer to home maybe western PA with the grand canyon of PA?   Day rides to WV and finger lakes

The 3 wheels are long gone. It's now a Valk missing 4 cylinders, aka BMW R1200R
