Ok the quick story. 98 with 59XXX miles. Runs excellent. Smelled gas after riding but with mowers, etc in my garage I really didn't look too hard. A few days later a puddle under the bike and #6 had a big puddle around it. Pulled all the plugs, pulled the tank to stop the bleeding. Drained all carbs, siphoned all cylinders. Got about 4-5oz out of 4/6. Put all 3 plugs in the right side, left all 3 out on the left side. Blipped the starter button few times and fluid sprayed out of #6. Did it a few more times for good measure and no more came out. Got a new petcock and know that a carb job needs done.

Anything else?? And if I don't do the carbs myself does anybody have a person near Indy.

Thank you.

If you have an OEM petcock, it’s malfunctioning

Glad you didn’t catch on fire, one errant spark from the ignition system with that liquid and vapors of gasoline spewing out, it could be a disaster.

I spoke with Mark at length. Seems like a very knowledgeable guy. Hi price seemed reasonable. If I can find a redeye carb kit I'll get it done.

I sold my tour to my brother in law and told him about shutting the gas off well he called me up and said he smoked out his garage so I told him shut it off and don’t touch it , cylinders were full of gas and I pulled the dip stick and it was all the way up the stick I drained probably 8 qts of gas and oil, I took the bike back from him and had the carbs done and electric shut off valve for the fuel and replace the petcock changed the oil 3 times and it finally stopped smoking (got lucky ) now I’m keeping the bike it runs oh so good
