Ordered a relay from Amazon. States it fits our Valks. It is the same as the oem relay except the holes where the cables fit are reversed. I thought no problem until I tried to connect. There is so little space that the cable ends are shaped to fit. Therefore you can’t switch the right to the left ! PITA.  I only decided to pick one up because mine popped once when very hot. I did take it apart and clean all the connectors and coated it with dialectic grease. Guess you get what you pay for.

The *B* should be on the Right side (never mind the letters are upside down). The *B* cable goes to the battery, so on.

Oem p/n while Amazon lists a different p/n. I verify p/n's before ordering any parts by visiting oem parts websites like here.

Thanks, the last time I mentioned the possibility people taught I was nuts.

The green thingie being symmetrical in shape may leave a false impression that both of the relay's posts have symmetrical aluminum conductors running into the green thingie,
mirror images of each other like your left and right arms for example. But the symmetrical-ness ends as soon as the aluminum strips goes into the green plastic.

Below, only the B terminal is capable of supplying electricity to the keybox regarding the B and M orientation. Meanwhile the M terminal dead ends in the green thingie
and only serves as a metal support piece.  The M terminal won't send electricity to the keybox.
