A friend who is a H-D fan and the owner of a gorgeous H-D dresser, rode mine into town. It was his first on a Valk and said how impressed he was. He liked everything about it.

If you really want to blow his mind, show him this forum where the usual burning issues are oil and tires, not the best way to rebuild trashed crank pins, bearings, and splines.

Still, don't expect him to jump ship. Peer pressure is a powerful thing.

Show him the nickel trick!  cooldude I've had H/D riders tell me the nickel wouldn't stay on their H/D even if it were welded to the case!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

now you gone and done it,  be so generous and all.  Now there will be one less Valkyrie to purchase once the HD rider sells his HD.  Oops, soryy, make that 4 less Valks since 4 Valks equals one newer HD in pricing.... Grin

My best friend use to ride a ‘76 Shovelhead. After showing him the nickel trick he said he could do that, but he used a dollar bill and the oil leaks held it onto the bike.

Sowed the nickel trick to a group of Harley riders once.  One of them said " mine will do that with a brick"
