I spent yesterday working on the new vapor honing machine I bought from Vapor Honing Technologies in North Carolina. It has arrive via truck freight. I hope to have it in service as soon as I can get a helper lined up to assist me in moving it into my air compressor shed.
The video shows you what this state of the art restoration tool is, and how it works. I also build a permanent dolly that bolts on it for ease of use and servicing.
This machine is a media blasting cabinet which uses grit or glass beads discharged in water vapor to clean and polish aluminum or steel parts without the damaging and metal removing effects of dry media blasting. I also have a dry blasting cabinet I will be using now and then on the Valk.
Come check it out as I bust out he welder, metal saws and grinders to fabricate this addition to the vapor hone. Here is the video
