I had one of my weekly mens get together this morning and another opportunity to get out on the bike for an early morning ride. The weather was perfect and the sky was clear so I really hated that it was necessary to cut it short for the meeting. The ride back home was just as enjoyable, but here’s the kicker, for the first time since getting the Wing, I was able to make a complete round trip without ever shifting into air sixth. I guess I’m finally getting more settled in on the new ride.

I would have just kept going this morning but I have an appointment to keep. I’m picking up my mother in Campbellsville about 85 miles, to bring her to my house for a few days, and she insists on 4 wheels on the ground at all times so I have to pick her up in the wife’s Camary.

John,
You do realize that by putting training wheels on that Wing, you'd have four wheels.

Don’t think it would pass my mother’s interruption of four wheels, cooldude

John,

Congrats on the 'air sixth gear' milestone!!! Way ahead of me there, my friend! Even now I still find myself occasionally trying to 'shift up' from fifth... Oh well, some of us just 'have it' and some of us...

Something tells me it was more of a fluke yesterday, but noteworthy none the less. In your case, I’d say give it a few more 100,000 miles and you’ll get the hang of it cooldude

I still do it occasionally as well. Nice to know I am in good company!
