Need some help.  I've browsed here and not found an answer, same on youtube.  SO.....replaced my rear pads and in the process a metal "clip" fell out.  On fiche, it's listed as "spring, pad".  Need to know how/where it fits.

Any help is appreciated.

MANY THANKS!  That's where I installed it, seemed like the only place it would be appropriate.  Nice of you to take the time, verify it for me.  Now I can go for a test ride.  Pedal still not strong tho, maybe with the ride.

Again, thanks

Sometimes that first rear brake use can make you say WHAT!

Especially when stopped on a slope.  Cheesy

Set something heavy on the rear brake pedal overnight or bungee it down. Let it set for several hours.

This is probably not a fix for your  problem, but while  doing the rear brakes its worthwhile to pull the rear brake pedal and clean/lubricate its pivot bolt.....gets all crudded up and affects rear braking.

People have reported frozen pivot bolts, too. It's good to relube it every 20 years.

Often new disc pads have to “bed in” which means they have to wear into the disc. They made improve with some miles.
