The Good News..... My Pastor called me the other day and told me our Church
will be starting some new fellowship groups this year. One of them is a motorcycle
riding group!!! When I asked why he called me to tell me this personnally, he said
"Because you're going to be in charge of that group"!!!!! I've been wanting to form
a riding group there for 4 or 5 years!!!!!
The bad news.......We had a meeting this morning at work. The short version of
that meeting is we're getting a 5% pay cut effective next week.
Can't complain about having a job when so many people don't, but it's still a rough
pill to swallow. 5% may not seem like a lot, but if your budget is already stretched
REALLY tight it don't take too much to get yourself in a bind. Not really worried
about paying bills (Philippians 4:19) but it MIGHT cut into my "riding money".
