Since it's marginal income, probably 23¢. I'm thinking of changing to Canadian citizenship before collecting, so I can claim a windfall exclusion.
lol...funny original post. And yes, lottery winnings ( as well as other cash, automobile, house, etc prizes or giveaways) in Canada are not subject to tax...winners get the whole enchilada. That is of course, until you claim any earnings from it in income...that's when the taxman cometh
