Me too but I didn’t realize she was an older woman. I think she had fought and beat cancer over the years, I guess it took its toll.

My wife tells a story of how her mother refused to let her see “Grease” because Sandy changed for Danny and her mom thought that was the wrong message…she was 11 at the time in ‘78.

But yeah, she looked incredible. Before MTV that was the sexiest video ever!

very talented, pretty, and giving lady.  I remember her best in her dance routine 'lets get physical' as a young kid since was a tad bit too young for GREASE in 1978 even though I saw it.  Hard to believe she is only 6 years younger than my mom.  She looked very good for her age,  despite the DREADED C word popping up again and again.

Yep, she was a very talented "hottie" in her prime.  Great memories of her music and acting.  I had an LP of one of her very early country western albums.  As mentioned, she really killed it in Grease.  She may have been born Australian, but she was as American as apple pie in that role!  R.I.P. Olivia.

edit: found the song I remembered.  Country Girl, from the album, If You Love Me Let Me Know -- another song we'll never forget.  Definitely a sweetheart.
