Hey all im new to these Valkaries. I been working on the 2 of my father in law. Doing complete carb rebuilds and getting very familiar with them as i have taken. The carbs off one of the bikes 4 or 5 times for several different human errors. Well i got tires of working on the 03 so I switched them over to working on the 99. Found that the fitting between the carbs is leaking so needs new o rings. With a search on here i found those o rings sizes being N1.30 x 008, and N1.78 x 007.94, both 70 durometer. Unfortunately going thur the o rings store as said you cant get the N1.30 x 008 unless you wanna buy 1800 of them right now. But looks like
www.oringsandmore.com will have both for the fuel and vapor tubes. What im looking for is the correct sizing o rings for the air cut valve. There are two on the brass tube ( also called a jet ) which are the same size then the other is on the plastic of the valve itself. The part number to the honda kit is Honda Part # 16010-HM7-670. Which i could just buy kits at 16 bucks a pop times 12 and move on but 200 bucks vs maybe 5 bucks from a o ring shop sounds alot better to me. With doing some research apparently this kit is also used on a 98 Honda VTR1000 Superhawk. With doing some research found that they will sell you one o ring from the kit Honda Part #16075-GHB-640 which in the description it says its a 1.3 x 4.3. So i turn to you all to try to get some info on the sizing of what is the correct o ring size for the air cut valve ?
I have messaged redeye already to ask no reply yet and also messaged partzilla which they said they didnt have more info. But thank you in advance for your help
