According to the NYT taking care of our lawns is racist and ruining the planet, contributing to climate change.

All this time I thought green spaces and trees were a good thing. I guess I'll let the yard to go hell and see what the liberal neighbors have to say.

even in this small midwestern hicktown,  there is an ordinance of I believe over 8 inch grass must be mowed.  ONLY gets to be brought up though if someone complains to our local rent a cops or village, of which we have no President, she left 1 month ago with her Dad who also worked maintenance for the village to TX and now accused of stealing/writing out several checks to herself for 30K.

Stupidest thing is we cannot park more than 24 hours on our public street even in front of our own house.  Once again,  is not enforced until someone complains,  which my a-hole neighbor did when I parked my enclosed trailer on my street for 1 week not moving it was going to use it again the following week so let sit in front of my house which is NO problems for anyone except _ickhead neighbor up the street who thinks he is king tut.

I've always wondered what the perfect climate is to these morons.

Well, the perfect temperature for these people to BE at would be ambient.

I have some green and it's mostly weeds (clover, not dandelion or broad leaf).  I usually spray the weeds, but this summer I'm cultivating them so I have some green.

Looks good from across the street.

I can't be certain, but believe my lawn is equal opportunity.

Except we actively discriminate against dogs (poop).

I've never understood the need for a perfect lawn that needs constant maintenance when there's so much more to do in this world.

Spray for weeds and go DO something.

I also don’t get carried away with lawn care, its all clover, trefoil, Timothy hay, lavender and all kinds of green stuff, I never put any chemicals on it on account of guys like this, I let them eat bugs all day
