The energy and joy these 4 lads showed (with of course Billy Preston contributing on keyboard ) was
one of the highlights of their journey

Evan, thanks for posting, made me smile watching it, as you could tell they knew they were causing a ruckus (for lack of a better word) down below. Paul's Cheshire grin gave that away through the whole song.

Hey Oss, I’ve watched that mini concert many times over the years, it’s one of the best things about YouTube. Love the end with John saying “…I hope we passed the audition” which I heard many times on the radio but until seeing these videos never knew this is where it came from. What a great band and music which will stand the test of time. Also have to say great fashion sense those guys had.

Back in the ‘80’s U2 did a similar session in downtown LA with for the purpose of a music video (which featured the song Where the streets have no name) seemed to mimic this performance.

Not sure anyone would remember or would be interested but here’s the link, I believe this is the full video.
