Had to have the beast towed home because the guts of the switch collapsed and I couldn't insert the key.
Is there a work around to get the bike started without the key or a switch from another bike that will wotk??
The switch is no longer available from Honda.

It's likely not the switch itself.  The little door that closes on the key slot sometimes breaks into pieces and makes its way into the key slot.

Get a small pick, dental or straightened safety pin, and work the little pieces out of there.  It will work perfectly well without that little door.

I'll try that tomorrow. I can definitely see a spring floating around in there.....

Thanks.
