No matter where it is, some people will have to ride across the "flatlands."

Not me. I've had enough of straight roads, heat and too strong sidewind. Wimp.

My point was that your comment (Anywhere that doesn't involve riding across the "flatlands") is impossible to achieve.  People live on opposite sides of the country.

And some of us love the "flatlands" riding. By the times I've hit great mountain roads, my mind is in a better state of being.

I don't know.  There is something to be said for the wide open spaces and nice clean, straight and unpopulated roadways.

The last was in the west and the two before that were in the east. How about somewhere near Branson, Missouri?  Geographically, it's almost in the very center of our country.   I don't know much about riding around there, but I'm sure someone else can help with that.

Hey all... We don't mind suggestions; however, we just don't have time to investigate every area that is thrown out.  If you submit a suggestion, please include a hotel that will meet our needs (approx 140-150 rooms and banquet seating for 300).  If you're willing to do some investigating, we are more likely to consider your suggestions.  rider

P.S.  This year will be East of the Mississippi River.

The riding near and around Branson is great.  Unfortunately, their busy season corresponds with our time to gather.  We need a hotel that is motivated to deal with us to get our business.

Ozark’s are a great area. Just WEST of the Mississippi. But Center of the US. And beautiful riding.

Vermont does have some very very lovely scenery.   And did have some very nice roads and yes, I don't like riding through most parts of New York, but did find a good BBQ place their one trip.

Seymour Lake

And Yes I was thrilled with my visit there.   It was memorable.

I like your way of thinking, being from MO wine country.
I plan on being there wherever it is.

Wow!! I never realized that!

I had a friend spent 3 days in Canada and only realized he had been carrying his grand ma's revolver the evening he was back in the US. Not something I would suggest trying.

You can have the Branson Eureka Springs area, we were down there around June 10 and thought that whole  area sucked. I absolutely hated it way to much heavy traffic. We went down for a time share deal  $$ to help Vets on PTSD. The big Radison Hotel in Branson was a piece of crap.  The Springfield Bass pro museum and aquarium was spectacular and if you are even close you need to visit it. I could of easily spent 5 hours there.
My riding days  are really slowing down cause my wife won't hardly get on the bike after my very close friend was mowed down and killed 2 years ago. I've had 4-5 rides this year. I'm not going to tell you I've got the world by the tail up here you'll have to find that out yourself.

I will put in my 2 cents for Western PA

Perhaps a venue like Washington & Jefferson college can hold us as school is out in early June
It is just south of Pittsburgh  near WV and not far to the grand canyon of PA and Watkins Glen and the finger lakes of NY southern tier

Lots of nice country out there
and I believe Morgantown can also hold all of us

Except for just north of the Finger Lakes.   Last time we tried to have dinner in Seneca Falls, we had to walk around to several restaurants to find anyone that would even speak with us about waiting lists, etc.  Finally found one that would put our name on their list.  Riding between the finger lakes is really a nice rural ride.

And we got to stop at Watkins Glenn.

Nashville, IN. Easy access and adjacent to Brown County State Park. Columbus, IN is 20 mi. away if lodging at Nashville isn't enough. Lots of designated rides in the area. Also Bean Blossom north of Nashville is the home of Bill Monroe bluegrass legend. Nashville has a lot to offer as it is destination for bikers on the weekends especially in the fall. I can see 150 Valk's terrorizing the HD rider's downtown.  Grin
