Queen Elizabeth, a beloved leader who ascended to the throne at age 25 in 1952, died Thursday at her Balmoral Castle estate in Scotland

She will be missed by all.

Queen Elizabeth II, was the beloved face of her country and source of strength for seven decades.  She was 96.

More from the Fox News Link Below.

From the small, curly-haired girl known to her family as "Lilibet" to the gracious, bespectacled great-grandmother who favored broad-brimmed hats, deliberate bright fashion and sensible shoes, the queen was always a favorite with her subjects both at home and in her many visits to Commonwealth nations around the world.

The protocol for London Bridge Is Down is fascinating...

All radio stations in the UK are supposed to switch to sad and somber music immediately. I've been using this app to hop around listening to 'em and for the most part they're doing it.....

And discussion of the protocol now going into motion:

I guess God saved her for as long as he thought necessary.  May she RIP.  Condolences to all our British members.

She carried herself with dignity, and was devoted to her role as a leader and unifier.  Unfortunately not always common traits for state figures and leaders, who are often beholden to politics and bound by ideology.

+1.

She may not have been perfect, but she played her role to perfection.

How the Queen's order to break royal protocol after 9/11 and play the Star Spangled Banner outside Buckingham Palace moved a heartbroken nation in a gesture America NEVER forgot.
