Cooler weather is round the corner and I need to get out of town.  Anyone have plans to travel to Fredericksburg in October?

Hey Marcus how are you? Just took the tourer to the coast yesterday , 166 miles , all good , a little warm when stopping but great . The hills sound good ,we are open . Did the last two times in the Miata (blast).

The Harvest Classic is coming up, so I checked the prices and availability at The Peach Tree Inn & Suites and guess what.  Peak season.  $89.00 per night turned into almost $550.00 for three nights after they adjust for peak and add a cleaning fee.  Leakey Inn is less, but not close to Fredericksburg.  Need to find something somewhere closer that's not exorbitant.

I checked the Best Western in Blanco...$170/night -- Best Western in Johnson City...$167/night.

There could be some good options in Kerrville.  Kinda in between the Twisted Sisters area and Luckenbach.

Also, Marble Falls may have some good options.

I am always  available for a good hill country ride on the weekends. If you are looking for a cheaper option than the hotels, check Texas 281 rv park, they have a nice hospitality suite with a king and 2 singles and a kitchen for $75 a night , Its here in Bulverde and about a 30 min ride to Bandera, 35 min to Luckenbach . The park is very safe
