Howdy,
Pulled the pet rooster off my 2000 IS and this is what remains. New OEM Petcock won’t fit. Is this the main tube of the old Petcock? Any safe way of removing? Just bought this with 11k miles and I’d hate to brake something so soon in our relationship.
Thanks,
-Al

Can’t seem to post pictures. Orange tube that looks like the Petcock tube is still inside the hole. Maybe that info is enough for an OG?

It’s the filter that fits over the petcock tube. It’s just stuck in there. Should be able to get it out with some needle nose pliers.
