Indian Summers, of which we're in the middle of a doozy here now, are great for a lot of things. The warm clear mornings; lazy, hazy, hot but not too hot or humid afternoons; the perfect evenings, all make it ideal for lots of late September, early October outdoor activities.
Of course riding is at the top of the list, whether its just cruising the local valley and up into the mountains on the Valk, meeting up with fellow riders from other parts for a weekend as we did earlier in the month, or getting up at the crack of dawn for a coffee/breakfast run on the OldWing...

An evening ride on the Valk

The next AM, same stop at sunrise on the OldWing

Beach time at Kilby Beach on Harrison River, 5 minutes from my door

Early AM coffee run to Harrison Lake on the OldWing

Relaxing days on the lake fishin' with the Mrs

The forecasters, who of course have a 10%, 50%, 90% (whichever they choose to use) chance of
never being wrong...or right

) speculate that we have another good week of this Indian Summer to go. When they forecast good weather, I like to believe 'em....when they forecast the opposite, I hope they're full of ****-crap
