I looked up there (it is near an intersection where a road comes down from the BRP) on
Sunday when we went by - on the way home from West Virginia  cooldude ...

A bunch of us ate there on one of the Fall Color Rides...

I went to a guitar show in Brevard/Asheville a couple of years ago and was planning on
eating there on the way home. 276 was shutdown  Shocked and what must have been
every police car in Brevard was in the BBQ parking lot!

I don't have any pictures but my first trip to Pisgah National Forest was in 1962 or 1963, I forget which.  Visited my friend in Lake Toxaway and we deiced to hitchhike to Pisgah and camp for the night.  Very interesting experience.  I guess we were 16 or so.

It is interesting what you remember and what you do not.  I remember that trip so well and its been what, almost 60 years.
