Running a Michelin CrossClimate2 205/65r16. The taller tire helps on my high speed commutes through Texas. Smarter Everyday gave a great review of this tire (though sponsored by Michelin) - https://youtu.be/PT2odY3C6Og

The tire barely fits. I mean feeler gauge gap between the tire and the swing arm, but doesn't rub at 36psi.

So far it handles fine in city driving. I haven't tested on the highway as of yet but not initially concerned.

nice.
I don't run that tire but do have a 205/65-16 size installed.  yep close to swing arm but has never touched it.  while searching for a tire in that size some are a little wider than others in that area and there are also different tread widths also.

RPMs will drop about 200 rpms. your mpg will go up and the engine just seems to like that 200 rpm reduction.

I ran a 65 series Hankock awhile back. With the Valkyries not having a 6th gear I'll take all the help I can get.

I'm putting one of those on in 205 60 in a couple weeks.

Most expensive car tire ever.... but still about half the price of a good bike tire.

Review Update

I have spent some time on the new tire and did a stint up the Highway testing at 75-100mph.

I am happy to report that the intown handling has been very good. Better than expected based on the profile of the tire not being as round as others. The high speed testing yielded great results. The bike was stable and didn't not wander all the way up to 100mph (allegedly).

I’m running this exact tire on my standard. I’m in NJ outside of NYC- from beautiful twisties and cratered side roads in the mountains in Pennsylvania to commuting into Manhattan- this tire is doing it for me. Love it in the rain!

To those running the 65-series tire, I thought that I'd read about contact with the connectors under the fender at times of heavy bumps or loading. I may be mistaking this with a different tire (maybe the Austone?). Either way, take a look up there with a flashlight and make sure things aren't rubbing.
