So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Covington, TN

« on: October 15, 2022, 10:18:07 AM »

Considering getting a couple of pieces (or more) done in black chrome.   Anyone ever done this?

No but I've done some reading on powder coats simulating chrome (or variants), and recall reading it didn't stand up over time as well as other coatings.

Yeah, I've heard the same thing.   Just considering this.   Thanks for the response.

Going on 7 years and no issues. You just gotta find a quality Powdercoating place  who sandblasts the parts then prep and Powdercoat
Hey Larue...buddy I always thought that was one bad looking bike. Mounting a couple visible pea shooters
might come in handy on the I-4 parking lot.  cooldude

Hope to see you and the rest of the Fla. group in March. Coming down for a couple weeks, don't think I'll have the trike with me though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe we're talking about two different processes and results.
