Bought a small bottle of tequila which didn't get opened.

View east on Hwy 28 north of Hwy 74.  The tall weeds and scrubby trees that had been obscuring the view had been cleared.

Commercial blueberry shine top - Yuck.

Applepie shine below - Good

Saturday morning. Made a change from past years when I could write in the frost on my saddle.

Two of the small houses on the left are for sale!

At the eastern end of the Cherohala

The Post Office should soon have a full description of these 2 on a wall near you.

One of the overlooks on the Cherohala.

At another overlook. It was getting ready to fight me.

At this point I turned back on the Skyway. My front wheel had slipped twice on the gravel left behind by the construction crew along the TN section. More fun on the gravel free NC section.

Whilst I was taking this photo a gentleman from India in the USA on vacation told me it was a magnificent machine and asked to take a photo of it. WITH ME IN THE PHOTO  Shocked

It certainly had some habanero heat.

Saturday night the pyros were out.

cooldude

Our fall colors came and went, and the inherent sadness of facing another long winter is settng in. 60s next few days.  Monday is down to the 40s, with lows dropping to the teens.  Here it comes...  Better than the 20s -- below -- that come around in December and January.

That blueberry shine looks like Kool-Aid.  Don't drink the Kool-Aid.

A special event, hopefully, next year.   No more weddings to pay for, unlikely to see another grandchild (next year) and the wife has run out of shoulders to have replaced.   Looking forward to next year's events!!
