Yes, the link worked for me but I'll be darned if I can figure out the trailer. Doesn't make sense to me either.

Those are mainly used behind travel trailers or smaller pick ups. Travel trailers and small trucks do not have the frame or weight capacity to hold much more weight than what they are built with. That trailer will rise up and down with the terrain, and the wheels swivel when turning. I think it solves a problem for some people wanting to take their bikes with them. I looked into them before I bought a toy hauler. Jim

It's pretty cool actually. You have to have a special hitch with a double ball that goes in your 2'' receiver. When you pull it, the large dolly wheels rotate to the direction you are traveling, forward or backwords. It follows the path of the vehicle instead of "jack knifing".

Understood, must be some small bikes that go on it. Two Valks would never fit. Rams

And IF you could git a Valkyrie on that contraption WHY would you tow er sideways? Basically an extension of yer vehicle. I learned HOW to back a trailer up a LONG time ago. RIDE SAFE.

I've seen a one wheeled version on the road before but never got an opportunity to get more than a glance as I passed it. I really don't see it as very useful unless, one only carries light loads and can't back a trailer. I guess I just don't understand why anyone would have/use such a contraption. And, for the asking price of $2,800.00, I could buy a real trailer. Rams

When I was maybe 22 or 23, I bought a one wheel trailer that attached to the bumper with two brackets and pins. Yes, it was only good for light hauling, but I could haul a washer or dryer with a ‘76 Plymouth. It was only $50, trailed perfectly, and easy to back up. Light weight. When a person has only a mid sized passenger car, adding any towing capacity is a major plus. I’m sure it had no lights and no plates, so it may not have even been street legal, but I was never stopped (although I did not use it much). When I got married in 1981, my wife had a company pickup truck, so I no longer needed the trailer.

I caught a glimpse of one of these trailers behind a megabucks motor home today. It had a side by side machine on it and the whole thing didn’t look to extend but a few feet more than the the width of the trailer. Must be some advantage to this???

I'm sure there is. The major advantage I see is for those who can't back a trailer or, lack sufficient storage space when that "trailer" isn't in use. I wouldn't think it would take up much space but, having never had one.................. Rams
